What we VALUE

The Year 5 students spent some time reflecting on what they think our school values mean. Here are their responses…

Respect

When people are different you respect them like any other person.

Listening to people when they are talking.

Being nice to someone.

Saying sorry to someone.

Showing that you appreciate something.

Being kind to people.

Being nice to other people.

Respecting other peoples learning.

Responsibility

When you tell the truth.

Taking on a role and being committed to it.

Looking after someone younger.

Taking care of someone.

Taking care of jobs.

Having a job and committing to it.

Responsible for your own learning.

Responsible for your stuff.

Someone can trust you.

Community

School is like a school family.

A group.

You have to actually communicate with people.

Working as one.

Working as a team, well.

Listen to who is talking.

People you work with and you family.

Excellence

When you've done well.

Being on time to assembly and doing my best.

Committing to something.

To do well in your learning.

You can do every think right.

What do you think our values of respect, responsibility, excellence and community mean?
