"What an awesome performance!" This is a phrase we have heard repeatedly since the children shared their learning on Tuesday evening at our Rich Learning Performance.

The children, over the past term, have been learning about what it means to be unique, to persevere, be motivated, to work with others, and be reflective thinkers. They shared this learning by writing, and staring in a performance entitled Kiwiana Quest.

The children wrote the script, designed and made the costumes, built the stage, designed and ran the lighting and sound, designed and produced the programme, choreographed and performed the dances. All this as well as acting, and running the behind the scenes and front of house. Amazing learning.

It has been great to see the children have to problem solve together, adapt and modify their ideas, as well as maintain motivation in learning  over time. The performance was a great way of show casing and assessing their learning.

Well done to all of our children. You can be proud of yourselves.
