Kiaora! Welcome to Room 2! 

Room 2 is a Year 5 and 6 class.  We have fun and caring kids.  We work well together, we're creative, sporty, good with technology and we are all experts at something!  We believe that everyone in our class has something to give to our learning and we are always focused, hard-workers in our learning - WE ROCK!  We have a great sense of humour and when you come into our classroom we have a bright, colourful, artistic and tidy classroom. We recently had our Te Kawau cluster art exhibition.  This is some digital art that we created using our interactive whiteboard and a google map view of Longburn.  The theme for the exhibition was our place so... this is Longburn!



We also learned about photography for our exhibition.  We had to think about colour, line, angle, frame and space as we took photos around Longburn and then we used Picasa3 to edit them and create a collage of our place.  Here is Rose's collage...
