Classrooms...

The most important people in our learning community are the children. At Longburn Primary School we have four classes. The Board of Trustees is committed to providing the most effective learning environment for their children.

Room 4
Room 4 is our New Entrant, Year 1 and Year 2 class. Lead by Niki Burtenshaw, this class is focused on giving our students the best start to their schooling. Very quickly they are at home and growing in their learning.

Room 3
This is our Year 3 and Year 4 class. Lead by Damian Samson, this class always has something new to share. The students are showing their growing independence and exploring how big our world is.

Room 2
This is our Year 5 and Year 6 class. Lead by Ana Matangi, this class is always a hive of activity. They have an exciting student centered programme that seeks to develop each student as a learner.

Room 1
This is our intermediate class, Year 7 and Year 8. Lead by Christelle Broodryk and Jo Emerson, this class is an exciting place to learn. The students drive the direction of their learning and are showing themselves to be interdependent learners.
